Survey Course: Mandated Topics
|
 |
| During a real estate licensee's first renewal, he or she must complete four individual mandated courses: Ethics, Agency, Fair Housing, and Trust Fund Handling, for a total of 12 hours of continuing education (plus other courses for a total of 45
hours of continuing education). However, if the licensee is on his second or later license renewal, he may now opt to take one 6-hour survey course of the four mandated topics, instead of taking four individual courses. Completion of this survey course fulfills the DRE's requirement for continuing education on the mandated topics of Ethics, Agency, Fair Housing, and Trust Fund Handling. All four topics are covered herein, followed by a comprehensive 30-question final examination. |
