Privacy
Learning.net respects your personal information and protects it with its highest level of security. Your personal information is ONLY accessible to the Learning.net, the course sponsor, and the designated regulatory association, and will NEVER be sold or given to outside organizations without your permission.
Security and Credit Cards
Learning.net uses the same level of security that financial institutions use to guard your personal data. Credit card numbers are not stored on the Learning.net system. You may update or change your other billing information at any time. For security reasons, we will never re-display entire credit card numbers in readable form and all credit card transactions will be handled by our secure server. We do not offer non-secure transactions.
Cookies
Learning.net uses cookies to track your progress through a course. The cookie contains only your UserID. If you have questions concerning the use of cookies, please contact our Technical support department for additional information.
Refunds
We will gladly grant a refund for any course under the following circumstances:
  1. You accidentally purchase the wrong course or an inappropriate course for your field of interest.
  2. You begin a course but are confused or dissatisfied with its content.
  3. Your requirements change while in the middle of a course.
  4. A course expires before you complete it and is therefore not valid for credit.
  5. You become dissatisfied with the system for any reason and want to cancel your membership.
  6. Once a test has been submitted, we cannot grant a refund.
Course Completion
At the completion of a course, you will be presented with a final certification exam. Upon answering the questions, the exam is graded electronically and you are immediately informed of the results. A "passing grade" for each course is set according to standards posted by the corresponding professional association or industry regulator. If a passing grade is achieved, you are issued a completion certificate and a record of completion is stored in the Learning.net system. The records will be made available for review by any duly recognized compliance authority.

If a passing grade is not achieved, you will be notified immediately and will be presented with options for re-taking the test based on guidelines set by the governing body. In some instances, those requirements allow for the same test to be taken again a limited number of times and resubmitted until a passing grade is met. In other cases, it is necessary to take a completely different test covering the same material. Except where otherwise required by a governing body, Learning.net allows a maximum of three (3) test submissions.

Records Retention
Learning.net retains records for a minimum of five years after the certificate of completion issuance date.
Course Cancellation
As an online provider of continuing education, learning.net is not subject to the circumstances that often can result in the cancellation of a live lecture. Courses are initiated and completed at your convenience. Learning.net will not cancel a course that has been purchased or is in progress.
Complaint Resolution
Customer complaints are handled by the learning.net Technical Support Department, which is empowered to handle and resolve customer complaints. In the event you are still dissatisfied, the Learning.net operations committee will address your complaint.
